"I like the whole ritual behind it. Like, it’s a lot harder to put a record on than it is to like—press an mp3, you have to take it out, put it down, be careful not the scratch the hell out of the top of it. It means you’ll sit down and listen to the record as opposed to it being background music. I think a lot of people use music like that a lot these days—having it on in the background while they’re cooking, or running, or on the bus or whatever. You’re not really focusing on it. But with records it kind of does make you do that. Which means you kind of get more immersed in the music."
